Down The Pan For Labour!

Anyone wanting to know why things are so bad in Renfrewshire and Scotland just has to log on to the blog of Councillor Terry Kelly. Yes this guy is a Councillor, who would have been kicked out at the last local elections if they hadn’t changed to the new proportional system. Councillor Kelly hung on at the previous election by a handful of votes as the people, after many years, were waking up to what a waste of space he was. Luckily here in Seedhill the people wised up to the fact that his daughter Rayleen was exactly the same after one term as Councillor and promptly voted her out.

For someone who was only a labourer in Grants Whisky Bond Councillor Kelly lives in the delusional world where he is a political heavyweight. Overweight through laziness and greed maybe, but certainly politically inept! Here is a guy who has the cheek to keep slagging off, whether you love or hate him, Alex Salmond the best politician there is in Scotland at the moment. Funny Gordon Brown would rather run a mile than debate with Salmond and yet Councillor Kelly would not last two seconds before being humiliated. He also has the cheek to slag off other left-wing socialists just because they left the Labour party and joined, or set up other left wing parties whilst claiming that THEY have no principles.

The only people left in the Labour party are people like Councillor Kelly, who back-stabbed the previous well-respected Labour councillor for his ward, so that he could get his snout in the trough. That is what is left in Labour, the look after thyself brigade. All the decent people have left now and that is why they have no workers left to do anything for their party at elections – just look at Glenrothes where they had to pay, and bus up from England, students to do their work for them! Quite similar to the SNP here in Renfrewshire in fact where they have to pay schoolboys to do their work for them at elections because of similar selfish back-stabbing reasons.

The Liberals used to be a major party in Scotland until they put themselves, their party and the unionist trough before Scotland and its people. The same goes for the Tories. These parties are fringe parties now with regard to Scotland! With councillors like Terry Kelly, numpty Labour MSP’s who showed just how useless again they are this week with regard to the Scottish budget vote in the Scottish parliament and the useless Scottish Labour MP’s at Westminster helping Gordon Brown destroy the economy, again all who put themselves and their party first, it is now the turn of the Labour party to go down the pan to become just another fringe party in Scotland!

Mr Carlin,

I think you are spot on, I stay in Glenburn and although I didn’t vote for him, I have Eddie Devine representing my area, this man was and is hated, he had tried for the last 12 years to get elected each time he got grubbed, each time the Labour vote collapsed. The man is odious, he has done nothing for this area, he likes the title but not the work, I can’t think of one thing he has done for Glenburn, apart from being an embarrassment

I feel sorry for former Cllr Roy Glen, he only got kicked out because, Devine came before Glen on the voting sheet, hopefully the fat nobody (Devine) will get kicked out next time, the strange thing is all his family is the same, his wife, very bitter, daughter, very bitter, honesty Mr Carlin they, the entire family is not liked.

Roll on the next elections and hopefully we can kick the fat nobody out of office that would be fantastic.

Sir, I thing your Blog is hitting the right notes, I have stayed in Glenburn North for many years, I and my family enjoy staying in the scheme, recently my daughter was hoping to be selected for a council house, only to be looked over again, they I heard that Ms Cameron from Glenburn has been buying up council houses like they are going out of fashion, her own house, her mothers house, her husbands mother house, even though he never stayed their, I have to ask what the hell is going on, who does this women think she is! we all remember Ms Cameron from the Gleniffer, pulling pints and washing floors, now she feels that she is above all of us in Glenburn, I only hope that someone has the bottle to investigate this further, Labour won’t do it, because they are now very weak in Renfrewshire, maybe a good Samaritan will come forward.

If you give the information to the police it cannot be with-holding information so therefore cannot be a crime. Some councillors have been reported and others will be soon. The ones that have been are already in the public domain and the others will be soon. All will be revealed online and in newsletters when finalised. I unlike yourself do not have a master and that includes greed and selfishness!

Sir, I think it is most important that some good citizen speaks up for Mrs Cameron, whom I have known for many years.

1) Mrs Cameron bought her Council house in Glenburn, no problem with that, issue now closed.

2) Mrs Cameron maybe helping her mother Eileen to buy her Council House, no problem there, issued now closed.
3)Mrs Cameron’s Husband bought his Mother’s house, even although he did not stay there, possibly her just assisted his late mother with the purchase, no problem there, issue closed.

Let’s have not more digs at a hard working Councillor, who has the initiative to see that there in Money to be made in property.

Clearly all these purchases have been done for a reason and that put simply is to pass these onto the family and indeed assist them by giving them a firm start on the property ladder.

Surely we should be applauding Mrs Cameron’s efforts.

Mr Patton Has lost the plot, this is not to be commended, this to me appears abuse, more abuse and much more abuse.

The Tory Government should never have allowed Councils across the UK to sell their biggest assets.

No wonder this Country of ours has been compared to a “Banana Republic” or on some other web sites, no longer “UK” but “Derelict Britain” all our jobs are going abroad, our manufacturing was decimated in the 70’s, 80′,90s’, 2000, and then our “Service Industries” are in “melt down” sorry If I am being direct, but you all had better wake up and smell the coffee, this country is going to the “Dogs” and If we ever get “Bloody Independence” then we are well and truly “F*****”.

May I be permitted to comment on the NAT administration in Paisley?

Firstly the Depute Provost Iain Nicolson is not fit for that high office or that of a councillor for that matter.

This chap gives scum a bad name, he is happy to threaten people, go outside for a punch up, what a sad fat little man he is.

This look at his past;

Accused the highly respected Chief Executive of the council of being politically motivated, got A ONE YEAR BAN FROM THE SLEAZE WATCHDOG, THE STANDARDS COMMISSION.

Then he and his wife up at Court accused of fraudulently obtaining thousands of pounds worth of TAX CREDITS WHILE BOTH CLAIMING FULL ALLOWANCES FROM RENFREWSHIRE COUNICL.

QUESTION “ASKED IF THE COUNCIL GAVE HIM A WAGE SLIP (THE SAME ONE ALL 9,500 WORKERS RECEIVE).

ANSWER” IT’S NOT A PAYSLIP; IT IS A NOTIFICATION OF WHAT ALLOWANCES CLAIMED FOR THAT PERIOD”.

WHAT NONSENSE, IAIN NICOLSON IS A LIAR, FRAUDSTER AND A FAT SCUM BAG; HE EVEN SAID” THAT MOST OF THE OFFCIERS IN THE PLANNING DEPT OF RENFREWSHIRE COUNCIL ARE ON THE TAKE”. WHAT A SERIOUS SCANDALOUS REMARK TO MAKE. I dont know Mr Nicolson so cant really comment, but I think your language is excessive and your spelling appalling!
Regarding original post, it is claimed Cllr Kelly is a “socialist”. Most people who describe themselves as such usually are advocates of state capitalism/government control. They have not really got a clue. Socialism is the end of the capitalist system, not its reform. The end of the Profit System.
